How It Works

From Data to Combinations

A transparent look at what the Strategy Lab does — and what it doesn't.

We Analyse Every Historical Draw

The Strategy Lab maintains a continuously updated dataset of all past Powerball draws. Every time you generate a combination, the tool recalculates frequency counts, recency scores, and hot/cold rankings from this dataset — so your results always reflect the latest available data.

You Set the Filters

You decide which statistical constraints to apply: parity balance, high/low distribution, hot or cold number preferences, sum ranges, consecutive limits, and more. The same family of filters is available for both main numbers (1–69) and Powerball (1–26).

Each filter narrows the pool of eligible numbers. The tool shows you the reduction factor — how much your filters narrow the space of possible combinations — so you can find the right balance between precision and breadth.

We Generate Matching Combinations

The tool builds a pool of numbers that pass all your exclusion filters, then randomly assembles combinations that satisfy every structural constraint you've set. Each combination of 5 main numbers is paired with 1 Powerball, giving you a complete Powerball line.

You also get a backtest: how many past draws would have matched all your current filters. This helps you gauge whether your strategy aligns with real historical patterns.

Your Strategies Stay Private

Saved strategies and generated numbers are stored in your browser only — nothing is saved on our servers. You can save up to 3 strategies and check them against the latest draw result at any time.

What the Tool Does Not Do

The Strategy Lab is a statistical exploration tool for entertainment. Always play responsibly.
